Bureau of Indian Education Staff

Annual Information Management and Technology (IMT) Awareness Training is required for all individuals who access federal information or information systems, including federal employees, contractors, grantees, volunteers, and interns. The DOI Talent system requires a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card for access which has not been implemented and deployed to all of the Bureau of Indian Education staff. This presents a unique challenge for us in the Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) required IMT training cycle and beyond. If you do not currently hold an active PIV card, please continue reading for further instructions.

Note: If you do have a valid PIV card and are able to login to DOI Talent, please take the IMT Awareness training there, as assigned.

Please follow these instructions before August 31, 2020:

1. Click below to access the DOI Rules of Behavior (ROB).

I certify that:

  • I have read the DOI ROB
  • I understand that failure to abide by the DOI ROB may result in criminal prosecution

2. Click below to access the (IMT) Awareness Training.

  • This updated job aid will serve as a reference for you throughout the year. Download and keep it handy for questions about Federal Information Systems Security Awareness (FISSA), Privacy, Records, Section 508 and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

3. Click the “Completed (Self Certification)” button in DOI Talent to reflect that you completed the above actions and that you agree to the terms, conditions, and best practices that were covered.
