The Bureau of Indian Education announces the availability of funds under the Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) Program for fiscal years 2026–2031. The CLSD program, authorized under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), is designed to advance literacy skills for children from birth through grade 12, with a particular focus on supporting high-need schools serving Native students and their families.

The CLSD Office Hours will be available to all schools that would like assistance or have questions regarding the CLSD Program Application process.
